Modern Warfare 3 Fan Fends Off Really Stupid Thief
A KS City gamer is golden he's not dead after fending off a pistol-packin' moron who wanted his simulate of Modern font Warfare 3.
This is a story of deuce gamers, apiece of whom in truth craved a copy of Modern Warfare 3, and the different ways they went more or less getting information technology. First base up is Adam Freeman, World Health Organization picked upwardly his preordered copy of the game at a midnight launch event at GameStop, went back to his car and drove home like a normal person. And then thither's David Morales, who also went to GameStop for the midnight launch, sawing machine the stupidly huge card and decided to opt for a DIY express check instead.
Morales followed Freeman back to his flat, using his red Ford Explorer to freeze him in when Freewoman pulled into his parking spot. As Freeman got out of his car, Morales approached him and "racked a orotund" in his gun, shouting, "Collapse me the gimpy!" in what we send away only think was his best Steven Baldwin belief.
"Forget you!" Freewoman replied – something on that line, anyway.
At that dot, Morales "racked other round" for some reason, causing the first bullet train to eject and fall to the ground. Mayhap Freeman saw that as his opening, Beaver State maybe he just decided that Morales was an idiot; whatever the case, he grabbed the throttle past the barrel, they struggled for a bit, and then Morales ran back to his SUV and drove inaccurate. Freeman went to his apartment and called 911.
And that should be where this sad, flyblown and ridiculous tale ends, merely it's not. Later on talking to Freeman, police went to the GameStop location where the bragging adventure began to see if the store had any surveillance footage that power have captured Morales' face. What they plant was even better: a red Ford Explorer in the car park and a man matching Morales' description standing eligible, waiting to buy the gimpy. He was arrested and eventually copped to the attempted robbery.
As for Freeman, he said he reacted to the situation instinctively and acknowledged that it probably wasn't the smartest move to make. "If I had more time to think of it, I belik would have just given him the game," he same. "It's a wonderful game, just it's not worth dying over."
